Ohio Anxiety Treatment Center

Do you often panic, worry, or stress? You aren’t alone. Anxiety disorders are the most common mental illnesses in the United States, affecting 40 million Americans every year with 40% of Ohioans reporting symptoms of anxiety or depression. If you’re ready to say goodbye to anxiety and take control of your mental health, call us today at 866-959-9910.

Anxiety disorders are highly treatable, yet only 36% of people seek help with their anxiety. This is a cause for concern because untreated anxiety can have serious implications to your health, your career, and your relationships. In fact, people who suffer from anxiety disorders are six times more likely to be hospitalized. Seeking treatment for anxiety can not only bring peace of mind, but also increase life expectancy.

Anxiety stems from various risk factors, such as genetics, brain chemistry, life events, and personality. Though the root cause of anxiety can be complex, treatment works – and recovery is possible!

At our specialized anxiety treatment center in Ohio, we uncover the root causes of your anxiety and initiate true healing. This is achieved through evidence-based therapies, medications, holistic therapies, and peer support. Even if you’ve had trouble treating your anxiety with other methods, inpatient treatment is increasingly proven to be effective for treating chronic anxiety disorders.

The Trails offers a private and fully integrated approach not found anywhere else in Ohio. We enable you to leave anxiety and fear in the past and help you develop a new sense of confidence.

Disorders We Treat at Our Inpatient Anxiety Treatment Center Near Columbus, Ohio

There are several specific disorders that fall under the class of anxiety disorders. These disorders can cause intense psychological symptoms, such as fear, worry, stress, racing thoughts, or panic.

Anxiety disorders can also cause physical symptoms, such as heart palpitations, insomnia, sweating, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, trembling, shortness of breath, headaches, chest pain, or discomfort.

Both the psychological and physical symptoms caused by anxiety are the result of the body’s “fight or flight” response. In individuals with anxiety, this response is amplified, sometimes seemingly without cause. Oftentimes this is the result of an imbalance in brain chemistry, or even from a past traumatic experience.

At The Trails anxiety rehab, we treat all forms of anxiety disorders. We address the psychological, physical, and behavioral components of anxiety to offer a comprehensive, well-rounded approach. Some of the specific disorders we treat include:

Generalized Anxiety Disorder Treatment

Generalized anxiety disorder, or GAD, is a disorder characterized by excessive worry about everyday life events, often for no obvious reason. People with GAD usually expect disaster and sometimes obsessively worry about health, school, work, family, or finances.

People with GAD may have trouble with concentration, sleep, and even relationships. Their constant fear and worry can touch every aspect of their lives.

GAD can be treated with medication, individual counseling, group counseling, and holistic therapies such as meditation, coping skills, and peer support.

Panic Disorder Treatment

Panic disorder is an anxiety disorder characterized by unexpected episodes of intense fear accompanied with physical symptoms. In a state of a panic attack, you may experience heart palpitations, chest pain, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, and/or shortness of breath.

Panic disorders are often treated with medications and psychotherapy, such as CBT, DBT, and other therapies. At The Trails, we also utilize group therapy, peer support, coping skills, adventure & nature therapy, and meditation.

Social Anxiety Disorder Treatment

Social anxiety disorder is characterized by irrational fear, worry, or embarrassment in social settings. People with social anxiety can find it difficult to attend gatherings, work functions, and even develop relationships out of fear of judgment.

At The Trails, our small, intimate program is an ideal setting for treating social anxiety disorder. In conjunction with medication and talk therapy, small groups can help individuals slowly practice with what is known as exposure therapy. We also integrate holistic therapies to increase tranquility and confidence.

Phobia Treatment

A phobia is an excessive and persistent fear of an object or situation. Sometimes, this extreme fear can result in a panic attack. Anxiety caused by extreme phobias can prevent people from living a “norma” life. Fear may keep them from attending events, traveling, social gatherings, school, work, and more.

At The Trails, we treat phobias with medication, counseling, holistic therapy, and exposure therapy. We help our clients overcome their fears so they can face life with confidence.

Stress Treatment

Everyone experiences stress at some point in their lives, but stress is problematic when it disrupts your daily life. Stress can make you feel angry, nervous, or frustrated, and even cause physical symptoms like insomnia or hair loss.

If you believe your stress may be caused by an underlying anxiety disorder, The Trails can help you uncover the root cause and find peace of mind. We treat stress like we would any other anxiety disorder.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Treatment (OCD)

Obsessive compulsive disorder, or OCD, is characterized by unreasonable thoughts, fears, and unwanted sensations that cause a powerful urge to do something over and over, known as a compulsion.

OCD can make it difficult to complete tasks, leave the home, and often disrupts day to day life. Like other anxiety disorders, OCD is treatable with medications & counseling. At The Trails, we help you find the right balance to significantly reduce symptoms of OCD.

Post-traumatic Stress Disorder Treatment (PTSD)

Post-traumatic stress disorder, known as PTSD, is an anxiety disorder caused by a traumatic event. PTSD can cause severe anxiety, panic, nightmares, or flashbacks, usually caused by a trigger that reminds the individual of their traumatic experience.

How Much Does Ohio Anxiety Treatment Cost? Is It Covered by Insurance?

Anxiety treatment can have varying costs depending on the needs of each person. The Trails offers an inpatient level of care in a luxurious homelike environment. This may sound expensive, but fortunately insurance covers most or all of the costs of treatment.

Most of our clients utilize their health insurance plans to cover the cost of treatment. We do accept self-pay clients as well. Because pricing is unique for each person, we first recommend a pre-assessment over the phone with one of our mental health specialists. From there, we will be able to verify insurance benefits, deductibles, and estimate out-of-pocket expenses.

Ready To Start Anxiety Treatment?

Our specialists are standing by to answer any questions you may have. Whether you are looking for treatment for yourself or a loved one, the next step would be to call our admissions team at 866-959-9910. We can help determine if The Trails is the right fit.

If you or a loved one seem like a candidate for The Trails, we then provide a no-obligation pre-assessment over the phone. This usually takes about 20 minutes.

Your pre-assessment is then reviewed by our medical team to ensure we are able to provide the level of support needed for you or a loved one, which takes another 20 minutes or so. If you aren’t a fit for The Trails or need a higher or lower level of care, we help provide referrals for next steps.

If you are a fit for our program, we schedule admission, which can even be same-day. We know that choosing an anxiety treatment center can bring more anxiety in and of itself, so we go above and beyond to provide a smooth and hassle free admission process.

Call, chat, or email us today if you have any questions or think you are ready to start the admissions process.
